De-Evolution

A year after settling in their new colony, the humans find they are not the only intelligent species on the planet. The natives had vast cities as recently as 100 years ago, but now they live in caves, only venturing outside when wearing skins and masks to protect them from ‘the blue light’. Further research reveals a lizard species is evolving by leaps and bounds. And then the humans start forgetting how to use their own technology. With evolution on this planet so chaotic, it falls to a small party of unlikely heroes to find the source and do something about it.
