The Stone Ship

Five years after the first discovery of a former colony of the Stone Builders, the military finds a huge piece of a space ship in an unexplored system. This ship was built of stone, and the original group of scientists is assembled to study this new find. But news of the find has spread, and another group of Humans are also on their way to try and find any other pieces not yet found so they can conduct their own research. Meanwhile, another ship-too far away to be identified-is bearing down on the Ranklin research vessel. Could it be the Stone Builders, looking for their lost ship? Or worse, the species who did that much damage to a ship made of stone?
